Just so we're clear on this:

If any player wants me to NPC their character for the duration of this coming turn, I'm fully willing to do so. Just let me know. I can't guarantee they will do well, but I probably won't kill them off either. Probably. It'll be left up to the die, with bonuses/maluses depending on the situation.
