So, as you've all noticed, this game has been on an indefinitive hold, because I simply do not have the time for regular updates. I got university to deal with, and it's kind of a lot.
I haven't wanted to cancel it outright, because I really do want to bring the game back.
However, I don't see how I'll have time for anything even similar to our standard modus operandi, as seen in Red Planet, with turns on a weekly, biweekly, or even triweekly basis.
I was thinking that maybe, we could handle it more as - say - Sonny is doing 1990, over at his forum. Turns which are extremely slow, but not delayed. That game has been ongoing since 2011. I want to keep Vanaheimr going, and I feel that short turns don't really match the turn content, which is of an epic (not in terms of quality, but scale) level. Also, such a mode of storytelling would allow for people who don't have much time to regularly play (I know quite a few who are regularly stressed out about sending turns) to participate.
Opinions?
