The Untied Nations can perform the following actions, all by Security Council Resolution:

- Declare UN backed intervention (+ popularity for intervening countries)
- Sanctions (- trade for target)

Additionally, there are GA resolutions, which cannot be vetoed by the P5:

- Condemn (- popularity for target)
- Praise (+ popularity for target)

Be specific about the subject of debate. Additionally, this is an area for roleplaying and discussing international issues. Not commenting on issues important to your country will result in a drop in popularity, but only in extreme cases of idleness without LOA.
