[SENATE] Election of President Pro Tempore

As we open this 97th Session of Congress, we must once again choose our Preisdent Pro Tempore from among our ranks. Given her experience and the respect she has commanded in this chamber, I see no reason to break with tradition in nominating the most senior Progressive member of this chamber, Senator Joanna Nelson from Montana.
