Amnesty International Mars
Murder, chaos and death in the south as the British Colonial authorities make their way out of what used to be Victoria District. Reporter Amelia Romanov is on the ground, exploring the consequences and providing data from the agricultural settlements along the Clearwater Lake.
*Video starts playing, the picture seems to come from an embedded camera in the journalist's jacket, as she walks through what seems to be a deserted field. The crops on it seem to have been burned black.*
"This is where the British Security Forces passed a few days ago, locals complain that this happened to many fields and I have personally seen them pick up what they can and loot their way to Clearwater City."
*the camera cuts to an image of soldiers dressed in all-black uniforms, with the Union Jack on their armbands, cutting crops with their machete and hastily throwing them into bags, before climbing on a truck and throwing dousing the left of the field with fire form a torch*
"After the devastation caused to some of their crops, the farmers in the Clearwater area are worrying about a weak harvest, as fields like this are ruined after the Black March, as it is beginning to be called."
*The camera cuts to Clearwater City, showing the neighborhood occupied by the security forces*
"We were there when the British landed, looking with awe as they expelled what they described as "undesirables", which sadly it seems to describe anybody who doesn't look white enough or is speaking some European language."
*the camera, embedded in the jacked of the journalist shows her arguing with a man clad in black, as he pushes her back, the speakers on his power armor boom "Get behind the line, pig!" as he pushes her with his powered armor. People around the Journalist are yelling at the British, exchanging insults in a variety of languages. The journalist looks left, concentrating the small camera on an obviously Muslim man who is struck by the massive hand of the soldier, flinging him a few meters to the side, with his head bleeding. The British continue to boom through their loudspeakers "This area is under protection of His Majesty's Martian Forces, do not interfere with our operations", the suits create a eerie mechanic echo in the voice of the soldiers, as their massive line slowly pushes back the protesting citizens.*
"And so, under the guise of claiming to be protecting from criminals, thousands of people have been expelled, living in camps, slowly the outskirts of Clearwater city are turning into slums. With fear of possible violence escalating."
*the video fades, replaced by a white lettering that reads:
