We, the representatives of the Kingdom of Sweden (henceforth “Sweden”) and the domains of the Electorate of Saxony and Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth (henceforth “Poland-Lithuania” or “Saxony”), convene in Peace and Christian Virtue to declare our fullest commitment towards resolving the present armed conflict between our nations. In the name of God, we submit the following, to become legally and morally binding at the moment of signing:
Recognizing that a war of aggression has been launched upon the Kingdom of Sweden unprovoked, and that the rights of the Swedish sovereign have been infringed upon by gestures of war, a general status quo ante bellum will be declared between the two parties, save where noted. King Augustus and his domains shall repudiate all alliances, embargoes, and concordats public and private done with the intent of aggressive action against Sweden.
Beginning immediately, no nation currently involved in hostile action against Sweden shall use the lands of Poland-Lithuania or Saxony to launch attacks against Swedish military assets, nor harm her subjects. Following a period of six months, the borders of Poland-Lithuania and Saxony shall be closed entirely to enemies of either signatory party.
Acknowledging that Charles, King of Sweden, acted in an un-Christian manner by supporting the deposition of his cousin the Elector of Saxony in favor of the usurper Stanislaw Leszczyński, public disavowal will be issued to Polish-Lithuanian diplomats in Stockholm by the Privy Council, and to King Augustus by way of Charles Frederick, Duke of Holstein-Gottorp.
As befits a man of his station, Stanislaw Leszczyński is henceforth raised to the nobility of Sweden and will be provided with a pension upon his retirement to his new estate.
In compensation for the suffering caused by Swedish armies, the city of Wismar shall be transferred, at a date appropriate to ongoing conflicts in the region, to the Electorate of Saxony, to act as an open port.
Sweden and the domains of King Augustus will grant the other the status of 'most favored nation' in regards to Baltic trade or the rivers of Poland-Lithuania, and shall not impede commerce or movement within the bounds of law, nor impose tariffs upon the goods of the other in the port cities of Gdansk, Wismar, Narva, Gothenburg, or Karlstad.
Done in the city of Gdansk, on Thirteenth day of March, in the Year of Our Lord 1715.
