The Cloth Hall (Polish Embassy)

In the market square of Kraków stands The Sukiennice, or "Cloth Hall", a center of international trade. Within the confines of the century old hall, traveling merchants meet to discuss business and to barter. Exotic imports from the east like spices, silk, leather and wax can be found here, as well as Poland's exports, chief among them textiles, lead, and salt from the Wieliczka Mine. But the Sukiennice is not merely for trade, it is also for the business of the state. The King of Poland has hosted many distinguished guests and dignitaries here over the years, and it serves as the Commonwealth's hub of diplomacy.
