The Soviet Union has felt the need to bring up the issue of policies that have kept the people of Rhodesia and South Africa subservient under oppressive race laws known commonly as Apartheid and a solution towards its end.
Recognizing that the people of South Africa and Rhodesia have been driven to armed struggle to end these racialist laws.
Recognizing that the West has been silent when it comes to the brutal treatment of Africans in these neo-colonialist states and through trade with them only comes encouragement to continue this practice.
Recognizing that effective sanctions against South Africa and Rhodesia can pressure their respective governments into ending race laws and allowing equal rights and representation for all Africans living within its borders.
We would like to propose to the UNSC that sanctions against South Africa and Rhodesia be implemented to pressure them into ending laws that so blatanly deny the people their rights to self determination. We call for a boycott of all goods coming from these respective states effective immediately, ending only when proper reforms have taken place.

Re: UNSC: Sanctions against Apartheid States
We ask the Soviet delegate to explain how these sanctions for Rhodesia differ from those passed six years ago.
"I have no patience for injustice, no tolerance for government incompetence, no sympathy for leaders who fail their citizens."
