The Republic of India extends it's greetings to Israel. Following our internal deliberations, we would like to formally establish diplomatic relations with Israel and establish mutual embassies, in the pursuit of greater cooperation and better relations.

The State of Israel thanks India for their friendship and wisdom, and pledges the same in return. May this herald a new era of brotherhood between our nations, both seeking to support justice and tolerance for all, and freedom from the threat of genocide for any people.

The State of Israel formally recognises Bangladesh as a sovereign nation.
