By the authority of His Imperial Majesty, Shahanshah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, as legislated by His Majesty and approved by the Imperial Majlis, we declare the following,
The Imperial State of Iran hereby happily
recognizes the restoration of the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen to its rightful land and authority after the vile coup and bloody insurgency launched by Arab nationalist forces. Any recognition for other Yemeni states is hereby withdrawn, and the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen is recognized as the sole and legal representative of the territory of Yemen and its people. The Imperial State of Iran urges the Mutawakkilite Kingdom of Yemen to send an ambassador to be seated and bilateral relations to be reestablished.
The Imperial State of Iran must note that it has not worked together with the Kingdom of Saudi-Arabia, but appreciates the aid sent towards the restoration of the rightful Yemeni government to their seat of power. Any allegations by the Arab League against Saudi-Arabia for working together with the government of His Imperial Majesty the Shahanshah are untrue and unbased and will be noted as such.
Finally, the Imperial Majlis hereby gains formally the right to propose and amend legislature, unpurposefully forgotten in the recent constitutional change.
May the People of Iran now fully rejoice in a new age of democracy and progress.

Iraqi Republic
The international community sees clearly the exterior interference and illegal actions of the Iranian government towards the legitimate government of Yemen, and marks them well. Nor shall we be misled by your self-interested claims or falsehoods - for this is not the first time the Shah's interest has spread beyond its own borders and into sovereign Arab territory. We wholeheartedly condemn these actions, and Shahist interference in Arab affairs. To this end, we will be temporarily withdrawing our ambassador from Tehran. Our embassy will remain open to service Arabs of all creeds and friends of the Arab world who find themselves in Iran, but we will have no dealings with such an openly antagonistic government until the Shah has seen the error of his ways.

While we have not, at this moment, reached the same conclusion as the Iraqi Republic has in regards to our ambassadors, as a nation with a long history of ties to the Arab and Persian people, Tanzania would like to state our serious dismay at the turn of events in Yemen. That the Yemen Arab Republic, an internationally-recognized nation who has -much like ourselves- struggled to emerge from the shadow of neo-colonialism, could have its sovereignty so blatantly violated by Iran and Saudi Arabia is deeply concerning. We do not recognize the illegitimate rule of Muhammed al-Badr, whose rule as a Zaidi Imam runs seemingly contrary to the purported secular vision of the Shah, and condemn the involvement of all foreign powers interfering with the rights of Yemen Arab Republic. Equally abhorrent to us is the intervention of the Saudi government, with whom we shall likewise lodge a complaint, as it runs contrary to the Khartoum Resolution and the spirit of internationalism and solidarity promoted by both that document and our own government.
Therefore, we urge the Iranian government to rescind their recognition and illegal interference, and begin an immediate transition to supporting a return to normalcy under the established North Yemeni government. Furthermore, we call upon all fellow Africans to follow suit with the international community in opposing foreign intervention against the Yemen Arab Republic, and pledge to bring the matter to the attention of the Organization of African States and the East African Community should the Iranian government continue this grievous error.

The People's Republic of China, while fundamentally unconcerned in Middle Eastern geopolitical affairs (contrary to recent claims by some colonial powers), likewise stands by the Yemen Arab Republic. This gross aggression is nothing but neo-colonialism.
