No new fleet was sent to the Indian Ocean, one of the existing two fleets there was assigned to help the Portuguese.

It's like my people want me to shoot them in the face or something.

Well Huo, at this rate I'm going to join the revolution whether I want to or not.

I noticed that I ordered the construction of 2 new fleets and 3 units but they weren't added to my player stats.

I just noticed, Sweden's army has more than doubled and is now larger than Russia's. For comparison, Russia's population is about 35.5 million. Sweden's is 2.3 million. Should there not be incredible unrest at what amounts to essentially conscription on a massive level in a period of peace and neutrality? One can understand militarisation, but this seems extreme - but government popularity is still "Somewhat High" and there's no mention in the news of unrest, desertions, protests, etc.

I think this is also more an issue that Russia's army was very small in the first place in the stats for this game, despite their reputation at the time, and since, for being an endless well of manpower. But this is where we come into BoP limitations of simulation, too, in the same way that we don't track things like numbers of experienced sailors.

While it's too late to actually do anything about it, for the record only, I lodge a formal objection to the way the whole Italy thing went. It's completely Alien Space Bats ahistorical for the time period. However, I'd rather just get on with the game.
