Something I apparently neglected to make clear is that you don't have to base your characters in any way off of ones from the game! In fact, you're encouraged to be as creative as you like with them. Of course, you can base them off anyone you know about or are told about if you like, too! I just thought it'd be good to make that clear to those who didn't know that and might have found themselves confused.

Just curious, what are the cost to recruit additional units? Do the cost are the same for all fraction as long they are equip with bronze?

Ah right, neglected to mention that. Cost of raising a new unit is 10 imperials, plus however much it costs to equip them. They're also added to expenses.

Thanks for the info, just asking. Wont Head of the Commercium be way powerful with 75000 imperium and 15000 income. Wont the player who played it suddenly want to revolt and raise 7000+= unit in first round and dominate the whole kingdom?

True point. I suppose I should put a hard cap on how many units can be recruited a turn. So we'll say recruiting a unit consumes an action, subordinate or otherwise.

That would definitively help. Was tempted to pick that fraction as it yield the most resources. But notice there is some flaw in it which make it overpowerful

I appreciate the insight and honesty! It also helps me as a GM develop things out more. So y'all don't be afraid to point out things like this to help improve the game.

To be fair, it was my understanding from the faction background that anyone who tried to do that with the Commercium would fall flat on their face because there is no actual bureaucracy to the Commercium yet. So you could try, but every other Master would laugh at you and that would be the end of it

That much is also true! Not to mention the Commercium is a business, and needless wars are pretty bad for it.
Either way, it's probably best to cut off the potential before anybody even tries.

Just a quick one, do maintining the units cost any upkeep to feed them or counted as any expenses?

Consider it part of the expense of maintaining their equipment.

also something to note, with the business faction that 75k and 15k income is spread across ALL the guild masters and lower downs, so you would have to get everyone of them to agree [and then agree on who to have them lead by], it seems like it would be near impossible to do anything major with that faction that was not business based due to the different guilds and masters with no central goverment

Mostly true, though for the sake of convenience, the guilds can be considered at least semi-centralized once a PC takes over, unless they explicitly choose to decentralize things, or local guildmasters join as players.

yes but I still think even partially centrised you would still have a group of guild masters that you would have to appease even if you where the head guild master
