AIB TO OFFER READING/GRAMMAR CLASSES TO THE POOR AND ILLITERATE

The AIB is proud to announce their campaign to eradicate illiteracy. The popularity of the community centers has opened up an opportunity to invite people of all ages, races and sexes to come and take reading courses which would establish a basic understanding of grammar and reading for those too poor to attend proper schools. There is a focus on traditional Brazilian novels and folk stories along with frequent reading from the Bible. "What better way to get people to come to love their Faith and Fatherland?" said a volunteer who only goes by the name of "Miguel".

There will also be language lessons offered to immigrants in order to teach them Portuguese and integrate them into Brazilian society. Anauê!
