The Social Democratic Party (27) will also vote in favor of this measure, even if it cannot numerically pass.

As it appears to have failed, as predicted, I ask the President of this assembly to close this vote when he sees fit.

I am extremely disappointed, even though this was expected, in the conservative, right-wing and - in some cases - fascist politicians of Brazil. To consider offering significant economic concessions to a company with a well-known poor humanitarian and economic record without even conducting a simple inquiry into whether said company is legally fit to receive such concessions is a punch in the belly not only against the indigenous peoples and rural citizens that have suffered under Farquhar, it is also an insult to the foreign stature and economic strength of Brazil itself.

Sebastião do Rego Barros, President of the Chamber of Deputies

Given the majority of no's, this vote does not pass.
