In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Benevolent,
I: The High Contracting Parties (the Sultanate of Egypt and the Expansive State of Iran) establish full diplomatic relations between each other, and announce proudly to the world their friendship and solidarity against Syndicalism, tribalism, and foreign encroachment.
II: The High Contracting Parties agree to a policy of non-interference, and bind themselves in the case of foreign aggression not only to condemn and refrain from supporting the aggressor party, but to conduct themselves with benevolent support for their fellow signatory.
IIa: A Commission, based jointly in Tehran and Cairo, shall be established between the High Contracting Parties to ensure the security of this provision, and will further be empowered with an advisory role to both governments as to the definition of benevolent support, which is hereby expanded upon to include the submission and ratification of a defensive alliance between the High Contracting Parties should the situation arise.
III: The duration of this Treaty shall be provisionally fixed at five years from the day of ratification. One year before the expiration of this period the two High Contracting Parties shall consult together concerning the question whether the conditions serving as the basis of the Treaty still prevail, and reach an agreement in regard to the further continuance or possible modification of certain details.
IV: In accordance with its peaceful nature, the provisions of this Treaty by no means imply support between the two High Contracting Parties of their present international ties or domestic situation beyond that stated in Article I.
IVa: As per this provision, the High Contracting Parties agree to refrain from forming similar agreements with regional Powers that might jeopardize the security of the other signatory.
V: This Treaty shall derive its validity from the support of two Muslim Sovereigns and their chosen servants, and may be publicly witnessed by the international community for purposes of verification before its otherwise-immediate ratification.
