Cairo Letter on the Decolonization of Dar al-Islam

Post by Gesar »

In the name of God, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious,

We, the righteous and patriotic Muslims under the rule of pawns and beggars loyal not to the Nation of the Prophet (pbuh), but to Nations of Man with pretensions of Empire, put forth in the aftermath of the Second World War a statement to the international community. Careful of our duty to Allah and the true ones, our people, we resolve to them and ourselves to speak with the utmost sincerity in declaring the following.

The age of rule from foreign powers, discord born of the greed of foreigners, and resplendent hypocrisy from the centers of international finance will, God willing, breath its last in peaceful languor. Verily, we implore that this will be case. Already Moscow and Washington fight over the carrion to our east and west, already one Empire claiming dominion over our land has been rent in twain. Muslims rise across the globe, from al-Jaza'ir to Irān to Indonesia, only to be crushed in the name of Ideology and Capital. We, patriots and believers, cannot abide any longer the incursions of the Dar al-Harb and Dar al-'Ahd onto sacred land. We, united in our faith and love for our homeland, speak as one, firmly against enemies and apologetically on behalf of our own nations who have acted hypocritically and without justice.

Allah says in the Qur'an, “And if they incline to peace, incline thou also to it, and trust in Allah. Lo! He, even He, is the Hearer, the Knower." [Qur'an 5:69] We know this to be so! The fires of the worst War between Nations in human history have indeed led to the recognition of the Middle World; allies and enemies alike have moved towards the promotion of independence or at least the notion thereof. This is all we ask, the rights guaranteed to us by God: peace, equality, and liberty. And to think some find these to be unreasonable demands! But there are Kings and Presidents among us who act as munafiqun, sowing strife between Muslims and violating the precepts of the Holy Qur'an by acting with oppression and force to maintain their positions of luxury. As in the times of the Prophet Nuh (pbuh), our modern stone-idol worshipers live in corruption and wickedness, their positions bought and sold from on high. The only difference is scope; the merciful religion of the believers now fights for justice against the Flood that is colonialism. Our al-Judiy'ih, the Place-of-Landing Blessed, is the entire House of Islam.

Lest the hypocrites respond with honeyed words, we remember hadith in justifying the statement of our cause. Mu’adh ibn Jabal reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Beware of the supplication of the oppressed, for there is no barrier between it and Allah." [Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 4090]

This, then, is our supplication. Allahu akbar, for He is Most Perfect and has promised victory over the wicked, either on Earth or in the days of Ma'ad. All praise is to due to Allah for our resolute faith in the end of Empire, the cause we proclaim on this day. The Nation of the Prophet will live and die on its feet rather than prostrate to anybody but Him. We do not act in aggression. God willing, there will be Peace, but know too that we possess Swords.

As Allah al-Aziz says, "For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor obeyed" [Qur'an, 40:18]

As-salamu alaykum.

Written in Cairo, on Mawlid al-Nabi al-Sharif.
