New York Bulletin & Underworld Rumor

May: A massive explosion in the Mojave desert leaves a crater in its wake. Reports have come in that a Joint USA Facility was destroyed by an unknown source of energy. The US government remains very tight lipped over what was taking place at the facility. On the internet people are saying that the facility may of been being used for the creation of advanced weaponry or UFO's.

-In Stuttgart Germany, a skirmish occurred between Captain America, Iron man, and a terrorist calling himself "Loki", after the Norse god of mischief. Witness's from the scene describe the event as terrifying. One witness stated "He had all of us fall to are knees in his presenc, as if in worship". Captain America, Ironman, and SHIELD brought Loki into custody after a brief confrontation.

-A SHIELD heli-carrier fell from the sky Saturday afternoon as if appearing to be under attack. The Heli-carrier crashed off the coast of New Jersey. A large green humanoid was seen falling from the heli-carrier, witness's say he fell through the roof of a coastal warehouse, no body was found.

-At the newly opened Stark Tower in NYC a crisis occurred in which the terrorist Loki who was believed to be in SHIELD custody took over the Tower, and released a beam of light opening what looked like a portal to another world in the sky above Manhattan.

-In Hong Kong, War Machine has been engaged in combat with numerous Ten Rings Operatives. The weaponry they have appears to be that from Hammer Industries. It is assumed that the weaponry was sold to Ten Rings by Justin Hammer who remains incarcerated at Seagate Penitentiary.

-Over Stark Tower in NYC a massive alien horde came pouring through the portal opened by Loki. Government channels identified the aliens as the Chitari. SHIELD deployed what it is calling the Avengers Initiative to combat the Chitari. It is composed of heroes and SHIELD agents; Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye. The Chitari appeared to suffer heavy casualties during the battle, all Avengers survived.

-Leaks from SHIELD indicate that the World Security Council lacked faith in the Avengers Initiative and launched a nuclear missile at NYC. The same missile was re-directed in a valiant act of bravery into the portal by Ironman, stopping the Invasion.

-Loki was beaten into submission by the Avengers and taken into the custody of his brother Thor. He has since been removed from Earth. The Scepter Loki was seen using is believed to have been recovered by SHIELD.

-Tony Starks' tower was badly damaged during the Battle of NY. Mr.Stark has been announced that Stark Tower will be re-purposed as the base for the Avenger Initiative and has been re-named Avenger Tower.

-The clean up of NYC has begun, contracts have been handed out to a multitude of companies in an effort to clean up the destruction as quickly as possible. The Toomes Salvage Company and Union Allied construction are among many companies awarded salvage and construction contracts. Many Fire departments are also staying to assist in clean up.

-The Department of Damage Control has been placed in charge of the cleanup of NYC by the government and a Tony Starks recommendation. Toomes Salvage Company has reportedly been forced out of their contract by the Department.

-Rumors on the street indicate that Adrian Toomes has turned to black market sales after losing his salvage contract.

Androids of the Iron Legion returning to Avenger Tower

-Tony Stark has begun the creation of what he calls the "Iron Legion". The effort is the creation of many Iron Man suits that would be able to combat another Chitari Invasion should a similar event ever occur again.

-A slew of robberies occur that involve the use of Chitari assault rifle. The robberies took place in Allentown PA, Richmond VA, Greensboro NC, Charleston SC, and Savannah GA. Local governments express concern that more alien technology may of found its way into the hands of criminals.

-Following his return to the modern world as a renowned hero, Steve Rogers is snatched up to be the face of many campaigns. One of these, not long after the Battle of New York, includes a set of videos for students in schools. He records many videos, including a fitness challenge, a video for students in detention, and one on the importance of patience.

-In Hunters Point, a bar called the Beast Next Door closes its doors as it comes under new management. The closure comes as a shock to those who were frequent patrons, as it was the assumption that business was good. Financial records indicate that the bar was sold to a Mr.Kusack.

-Reports from Riker's Island claim that drug activity within the prison has increased significantly over the past month. The report comes to light on the behalf of increased cell searches carried out by Correctional Officers.

-On a separate note, aside from his acquisition of the Beast Next Door, Mr.Kusack has also recently expressed interest in a move towards politics publicly. He has opened up Soup Kitchens desperate in Long island city. His AB connections can clearly be seen as non-whites are turned away from the kitchen by 1 unit of AB members who were sent there to keep his operations running smoothly. When reporters asked to comment on the policies of his soup kitchen, Mr.Kusack hurried off into Westside Rifle & Pistol Range.

New York Bulletin & Underworld Rumor

July:

-A bomb explodes in the South Wing of Hudson Heights Pediatrics in Manhattan. Authorities state 5 people were killed in the blast with a further 28 wounded, children among them. Staff described the scene as "gruesome". NYPD sources stated that the cause of the blast is unknown at this time. They do point to the possibility of exploding oxygen tanks that were exposed to fire being involved.

-Kusack, the former Aryan Brotherhood leader killed during a power struggle in June was laid to rest. At his funeral many Aryan Brotherhood members were present including some from outside of NY state according to FBI sources. Kusack's former second in command, Robert, delivered a euology for his former boss and friend. Robert AKA John Pilgrim is now considered The AB's top 'general' in NYC.

-A newsletter surfaces on the internet regarding Mutant activity in the five boroughs. The newsletter further echos the plight of mutants that occurred throughout the centuries under oppressive regimes, the same was recently released through proxies on the internet. The source remains unknown.

-On the West Coast, a rumor surfaces that Vistacorp has been illegally overcharging customers for a period of ten years. The news sparks anger among its customers and Vistacorps stocks dip as result of the news story.

-A Mr.Scott Lang allegedly infiltrated the Vistacorp Headquarters and returned about four million dollars to the customers who had been defrauded by the company. Mr. Lang also allegedly broke into the mansion of his former boss, Geoff Zorick. Mr. Zorick's reported many of his belongings missing and that his car was found in his swimming pool. Scott Lang was arrested for stealing from both Vistacorp and Geoff Zorick, charges also include burglary and criminal mischief.

-The Beast next door is re-opened despite the carnage that took place at the bar in June. It appears that the bar remains in the hands of the AB. Business has slowed considerably, and reviews have tanked according to Yelp.

Union Allied construction site at Ground Zero

-A Mr.Van Sciver has begun buying destroyed and abandoned properties that fell victim to the chaos of the Battle of New York. His hired help has begun renovations on many of them. The move to buy property in ground zero of the Battle of NY puts him in competition with Union Allied concerning any new construction contracts that are to be awarded.

-A large gathering of AB members took place at the Beast next door. NYPD responded to the scene after fighting broke out. Law Enforcement determined that many of the AB members present were from outside of NYC, possibly still in town after the funeral of Mr.Kusack. One of the AB members who was the victim of an assault by another member told reporters who arrived on scene that Robert had announced a reform, that some AB members would no longer follow old lines such as white supremacy, but human supremacy, against mutants. The AB member stated the new organization has been named the Brotherhood of Humanity. He went on to say that Robert invited all races to join in the fight against mutants. Apparently, disgusted by this proposal some AB members lashed out against Roberts supporters. Most AB members left the scene prior to the arrival of the NYPD. Most of those that remained would not cooperate with authorities or the media. Police officials gave comment that they don't believe strife between Robert, his supporters, and the AB is over.

-Police sources state that they believe AB leadership from California has been sent to NYC in the wake of Robert abandoning the AB and its interests.

-CERN announces the discovery of a new particle with properties consistent with the Higgs boson after experiments at the Large Hadron Collider.

-2012 Aurora shooting: Twelve people die and 58 are injured in a mass shooting at a movie theater in Aurora, Colorado. The shooter, James Holmes, opens fire on a crowd during a screening of The Dark Knight Rises. He is found behind the theater claiming to be "The Joker".

-Turkish adventurer Erden Eruç becomes the first person in history to complete a solo human-powered circumnavigation of the Earth.

-Along with NYPD, Hammer Industries has also announced it will be conducting an internal investigation regarding its stolen 'ex wife missiles' and launchers. This is to occur alongside the NYPD investigation.

-In Hell's Kitchen, men associated with the Fisk Syndicate begin to conduct operations in the area. The Kitchen Irish are said to have taken notice and reportedly, Finn Cooley, leader of the Kitchen Irish, has cut his trip in Ireland short to return to Hell's Kitchen.

-A scandal out of the 114th NYPD precinct unfolds in Astoria. A press release from the NYPD stated Officer Christopher Baker was found fabricating evidence by NYPD Internal Affairs. The evidence being altered was in relation to the theft of the 'ex wife missiles' and launchers from Hammer Industries a month prior. The FBI has taken over the investigation into Christopher Baker from IA, upon him being fired from the NYPD.Details to their investigation elude the media. The ATF will be taking over the investigation into the missing weapons from Hammer Industries.

-In the worst power outage in world history, the 2012 India blackouts leave 620 million people without power.

-Scalping activity increases sharply where it concerns Broadway shows according to NYPD sources. The name 'Taskmaster' has been circulating on the streets in the area where the tickets are being sold.

-Members of Hammer Industries board of directors meet with heads of the Department of Defense and Joint Chiefs of staff. Topic of discussion is believed to be HAMMER industries recent deal with the Chinese People's Liberation Army. After the meeting the DoD has announced plans make HAMMER industries an offer to buy the remaining stockpile of HAMMER drones in a second meeting.

-The make a wish foundation receives large amounts of donations from an unknown donor. Tickets to Broadway shows and Yankee games have been chief among the items donated.

-Rumors circulate that 'The Brotherhood of Humanity' claims Corinthians, north Corona, and Jackson heights as areas in which they will conduct their business.

-Hammer Industries executives announce the creation of its new Special Ordinance Division. It is said to be staffed by some of the brightest minds in the country and will lead the way in cutting edge weapons technology. Along with this news was the announcement of internships through Hammer Industries through which a new generation can make there mark in the defense industry.

-Meanwhile at Seagate, Justin Hammer is rumored to be in the early stages of writing a book on the future of warfare. Already college students interested in the defense industry are expressing interest in the book.

-A viral video surfaces on youtube of a homeless man being spit on at Vartan Park. He addresses the person recording him.

-Members of the Korean mob have expressed concern in Koreatown as rumors of a claim on Murray hill has surfaced. The name Von Doom has been circulating through the area.

-A prisoner advocate group named 'Rights for All' has reported increased corruption among CO's at Rikers island. Beatings of prisoners have increased. Those that have been beaten have stated it was because they refused to provide kick backs to CO's and other prisoners working for a criminal syndicate. Rikers administration has dismissed the claim as rumor and hearsay.

-AB-Fisk Syndicate War: In Brooklyn, at 216 East 43rd street, a drug house belonging to the Aryan Brotherhood was raided at approximately 0300hrs on the 28th. NYPD sources say that four members of the Aryan Brotherhood were massacred in a firefight. Ballistics indicated the presence of high caliber military grade weapons were in the possession of the attackers. It appears that the AB had little to no chance against an enemy with superior numbers and weaponry. Neighbors stated they heard a massive amount of automatic gunfire and yelling, and saw about 12 men clad in black wearing body armor and masks leave the area in two black vans. Money and drugs were believed to have been taken from the drug house. Street rumors implicate men associated with what is being called the Fisk Syndicate. Its believed that the raid was the first shot in what could blow up into a drug war over territory in Brooklyn.

-Scott Lang has been given a lenient five year sentence at San Quentin State Prison.

-Urgent reports come in from Her Majesty's Naval Base at Clyde in Scotland. The Royal Navy reports that the HMS Vengeance, a ballistic missile submarine has been hijacked from its home port by a group of heavily armed men who are believed to have infiltrated the base VIA the water. Although some at the base believe there was an insider who helped the intruders commandeer the submarine. Presumably, the crew of the submarine has been taken hostage. The report comes as a shock to the world, as the story leaks from the base. Current whereabouts of the Submarine are unknown, sending the British and NATO governments into a frenzied panic. The Royal Navy has dispatched a flotilla of Destroyers and Submarines to the Atlantic and North Sea on a search and destroy mission targeting the Vengeance. Likewise NATO countries with naval craft in the area have also been re-assigned to search for the Vengence. The HMS Vengence carries 48 nuclear warheads among its payload, and has the ability to create an insurmountable amount of chaos throughout the world. The X-Men, based outside of NYC have been alerted to assist in dealing with the hijackers, and to save the crew if possible.

New York Bulletin & Underworld Rumor

August 2012:

-Large amounts of online posts appear on the internet that are being re-tweeted like wild fire on Twitter. Posts on Facebook appear by the thousands among the civil rights community. The posts point to the new movement called "The Brotherhood of Humanity" as a neo-Nazi organization which is said to be affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood. The posts go on to say that The Brotherhood of Humanity is merely a white supremacist organization hiding behind the mask of feigned equality among humans of all races.

Arson at Union Allied construction site in Midtown Manhattan

-AB-Fisk Syndicate War: Fires broke out at two Union Allied construction sites in Midtown Manhattan. The damaged sites were to be the location of new high rises. Both sites were nearing completion, however the fire spread rapidly due to accelerate being used. FDNY managed to put the fires out before the structures were a total loss. The damage is anticipated to be a set back for Union Allied operations in the area. NYPD sources say that the damage was intentional and caused by arsonists according to fire investigators. Rumors circulate that the Aryan Brotherhood is responsible for setting Union Allied sites ablaze.

-Medical supplies have been reported missing from Tisch Hospital, Bellevue hospital, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel. NYPD stated no arrests have been made thus far and that the investigation is ongoing.

-An agreement is reached between Hammer Industries and the US Department of Defense. The details in the agreement indicate that Hammer Industries will no longer sell Hammer Drones abroad. Instead the Department of Defense has paid for all remaining Hammer Drones in full. A DoD representative stated that Hammer Industries will discontinue all manufacturing of Hammer Drones from this point on. Sources say that the government intends to mothball the Hammer Drones, as it believes that they are a liability, and too susceptible to having their software compromised.

-Business's around Embassy of Latveria have been rumored to of been purchased by Von Doom, causing local outfits to raise eyebrows.

A Washington Metro Police Officer works to secure the scene at the Lincoln Memorial.

-A fifth unexplained bombing occurs in Washington D.C. outside of the Lincoln Memorial. 13 people have been killed, another 30 injured. DC Metro Police on the scene shut the area down immediately and began sweeping the area for the culprit once back up arrived. President Ellis and Vice President Rodriguez were rushed off from the White house to a secure location by Secret Service agents. At the scene, like the most recent bombings in NYC, no evidence of an explosive device was present. Authorities in Washington remain besides themselves as what seems to be a national bombing spree continues unabated.

-At Stark Tower, Tony Stark is attacked suddenly during a press conference. Eye witness accounts describe the scene. "Mr.Stark was speaking when all of a sudden I heard glass shatter, and fly across the back of my head from behind me. I turned around and their was a man, clad in a green suit, and a white helmet. I watched as he targeted Mr.Stark and engulfed the podium in flame. Mr. Stark managed to dive out of the way. The man in the suit went on to completely melt support beams in the ceiling above the crowd and Mr.Stark. I managed to escape, but many people in the crowd were crushed by falling debris, and molten metal. I think Mr.Stark too was caught under the debris." "I made it out into the street after finding my way through a cloud of dust and smoke. I looked on with other survivors as War Machine landed in front of me. From behind me, I heard a voice taunt War Machine. I turned around to see the, the Melter!, yeah that's what I'll call him. He walked out from the dust cloud into the open. He challenged War Machine and the two began to fight. War Machine engaged the Melter with his shoulder mounted mini-gun, but the Melter targeted it with his melting ray, rendering it useless. The two men immediately ran at each other and got into a grapple. As they traded punches War Machine attempted to use his gauntlet mounted machine guns, but the Melter also melted those. The Melter kicked War Machine into a taxi cab, utterly destroying it, he focused his melting ray on War Machines face. The NYPD and ESU pulled up at that moment. The Melter gave War Machine one big punch to the face in the now maliable mask, warping it. The Melter used his jet pack to fly away at that moment".

-Tony Stark and Colonel Rhodes survived the attack with scrapes and bruises.

-A couple days after the defeat of Tony Stark and War Machine, the Melter assaulted a reporter while he was recording a story in Harlem. The Melter reportedly threw the reporter through the rear window of a parked car. While threatening the the camera man with his melting ray he announced that he would be selling his Melter technology to the highest bidder.

-The Carbone Crime Family has spread its influence and territory into Manhattans upper West Side.

-A new bank called Allied Union opens up in Hell's Kitchen. Customers have said they have achieved loans with ease. Critics of the bank point out what they believe are predatory lending tactics being used by Bank Staff. Allied Union's creation was funded by Union Allied Construction.

-Curiosity, the Mars Science Laboratory mission's rover, successfully lands on Mars.

-A large security upgrade is introduced at the Latverian Embassy. State of the art camera systems, metal detectors, and alarm systems have been seen being brought into the Embassy. The Embassy has effectively been made a 'hard target'. Latverian sources have stated the upgrades are in response to the random bombings that have been occurring in NYC and elsewhere in the United States.

-Armenia severs diplomatic relations with Hungary, following the extradition to Azerbaijan and subsequent pardoning of Ramil Safarov, who was convicted of killing an Armenian soldier in Hungary in 2004. The move is also met with fierce criticism from other countries.

-As in prior months further reports concerning rampant corruption come out of Rikers Island. Inmates being released have stated corrupted CO's are making legitimate operations harder to accomplish. The illicit drug trade is reportedly alive and well at Rikers. Inmates state anything you want, you can get for the right price.

-NYPD conducted a raid at 37-18 Railroad Ave in Long Island City after Officer Corbin of the NYPD was paroling the area and stated that he heard screaming coming from the warehouse. Officer Corbin and other patrols rushed into the warehouse. Inside hard drugs were found. Additionally a woman tied up in a room was discovered. Four Aryan Brotherhood members were arrested on drug, rape, and kidnapping charges. No injuries were reported during the raid.

-CO's from Seagate gossip about the book Justin Hammer is rumored to be writing. One CO said Justin Hammer has been conducting numerous phone interviews on the subject.

-Rumors of a contract between Victor von Doom's Doom Guard and The Cadre surface. Men believed to be under Cadre employ have been spotted in the area of the Latverian Embassy and look to be providing extra security for Von Doom.

In the Tian Shan Mountains of Kazakhstan SUNKAR Police units conducted a night time raid. The target was a terrorist group called the Green Liberation Front, believed to be composed of ex-Soviet soldiers and headed by Boris Bullski. The raid turned into a disaster despite initial success in arresting 4 terrorists. One SUNKAR member stated the following : "The operation was going to plan until we brought the four men outside of the cabin they were in. We were a team of 12, highly trained officers, and we were reduced to nothing by a man in a suit of titanium. He came crashing down from the sky on the heads of two of my men, instantly killing them. He used a concussive blast from his hands send 4 more officers down the treacherous incline. Bullets wouldn't penetrate his suite. He picked up an officers AK-47 and shot four more of my men with it. It was then he used the AK as a bat and struck me in the temple with its stock. He should of taken my head clean off, but I was lucky, he grazed me, and I pretended I was incapacitated. The man in the titanium armor released his men shortly after and they fled. I've only ever seen armor like that on the TV, it was like an Iron man suite from America!".

-Calvin Halderman, CEO of Roxxon, has purchased a small private island in the Aegean Sea. He has announced plans to retire there, and will thus be appointing an executor to run the company until he commits to retire from the company completely. Mr.Halderman did not name the executor for the media.

HMS Vengeance recovered by Royal Navy Sailors.

-The HMS Vengeance was discovered by the X-Men in the North Atlantic, off the coast of Newfoundland. The X-Men were able to rescue most of the crew bar Captain Matthew Bleigh who was killed by his hostage takers. A rescued Royal Navy Leftenant named John Greetham describes the ordeal :
"On the night the HMS Vengeance was hijacked we were preparing to leave port for patrol in the Atlantic. The Vengeance had been fully stocked with the necessary supplies and fuel to remain at sea for an extended period of time. Myself and Captain Bleigh were reviewing our planned route when we heard the faint muffled fire of silencers coming from atop the bridge fin access. As we hurried from the officers room we entered the Conn to find eight heavily armed men wearing wetsuits wielding silenced MP5's and P90's staring back at us. The last man down the bridge fin access was their leader, a large man, standing at 6'0" with dark hair and a dark beard. He was dressed in a black leather trench coat with a red shirt underneath. He was armed with two Webley .38 Mk IV's. He called himself Captain Barracuda. He addressed Captain Bleigh in a gruff tone with an English accent, and demanded access to the sub's launch codes. Captain Bleigh refused, even after the pirate captain shot him in the knee cap with his Webley. The Captain cried out in agony but still refused to give the Captain Barracuda what he had asked for. I was then held on the Conn with Captain Bleigh while the rest of the men were sent to the bunks. The next time I saw the men we were being rescued. The Sub was surfacing despite the pirates efforts to make it dive. Once the Vengeance broke the surface the pirates panicked. The bridge access hatch was being cut open by a red laser. It was at this moment Captain Bleigh attempted to over power one of the pirates and take his MP5. Captain Barracudda shot Captain Bleigh in the head during the struggle. At that moment I heard a noise behind me and watched as two blue arms hugged my torso, and instantaneously I was aboard the deck of HMS Illustrious from which I could see the HMS Vengeance".

-The Pirates on board the HMS Vengeance battled the X-Men in a desperate attempt to fend them off. None of the pirates survived except for Captain Barracuda who was taken into the custody of the British Navy. The crew of the Vengeance survived and owe their lives to the X-Men.

An AB member takes out a drug dealer in Rikers.

-AB-Fisk Syndicate War: A rash of stabbings occurred at Rikers Island. DOC sources said that members of the Aryan Brotherhood targeted known drug peddlers within the prison. "The targets were brutally, and savagely murdered" stated a Rikers Island public relations official. The stabbings are assumed to be part of a gang war that the Aryan Brotherhood is embroiled in with a large crime Syndicate. The outcomes appears to be a slowdown, and if not a complete stop for drug sales within Rikers. The AB have made a bold statement that they run the prison.

-The Beast Next Door offers free drinks and desert to minorities, women, and the disabled. The Brotherhood of humanity sponsored the offer. Some minorities and women are drawn to the event, particularly young people in their 20's looking to get wasted for free.

-The Fisk Syndicate has bought the 303 Gallery in Chelsea as a holding. It is run by Vanessa Marianna who is employed as its director.

-A new project has been unveiled by Hammer Industries, dubbed the 'Scarab'. It is an exo-skeleton that enhances the users strength and stamina capabilities. It was pitched to the Marines as the exo-skeleton that will get them through tough terrain with ease, the the air force as a suit that will free up man power when it comes to task of outfitting planes, to the Navy as a way to move supplies with effortless ease, and to the army as the future exo-skeleton to make soldiers that much more of a force on the battlefield. It is being called the practical alternative to an Iron man suit, more affordable too. The Scarab is received by the Department of Defense with interest, and they anticipate submitting orders as soon as a production model is available.

- Canada officially cuts diplomatic ties with Iran by closing its embassy in Tehran, and orders the expulsion of Iranian diplomats from Ottawa, over support for Syria, nuclear plans and human rights abuses.

-Rumors surface that The Melter made a deal with the Golden Tigers to host an underworld auction in one of its harbor warehouses. 200c was offered by an Eric Savin. He was outbid by a Katrina van Horn who offered 500c. Schematics for the technology were handed over to her without issue.

-After news of the underworld auction reached them, Tony Stark and Col.Rhodes deduced the most likely place for Horgan to be is at Anton Junicic Ent. Inc, not far from Red Hook. It's believed that the two heroes may of been tipped off. News circulates that Stark modified the Iron Man and War Machine armors so they can resist the Melter's attacks.

-Iron Man and War Machine investigated the junkyard at Anton Junicic Ent. Inc and found the Melter. a Junkyard employee witnessed the battle between the three men. "Iron man dove from the sky at the Melter, tackling him into the roof of a car with a loud crash. War Machine was posted up on the rooftop of the building on the property. The Melter kicked Stark off of him, and was blasted by War Machine's shoulder mounted mini-gun in the back. The Melter attempted to use his jet pack to escape towards Gowanus bay. I watched Iron man and War machine pursue him over the power grid behind the property. Iron man fired a missile from his forearm mounted launcher, it landed a direct hit on the Melter who was sent plummeting into a High-voltage transformer. I heard the sound of vehicles approaching, and saw four military humvees roll up to the power grid fast. Soldiers popped out with their guns trained on where the Melter had gone down. A larger truck rolled up behind the Humvees. Iron man and War-machine brought an unconscious Melter to them. The Melter was stripped of his suit and locked into the back of the truck before all of the vehicles peeled off". News reports indicate that Bruno Horgan AKA The Melter has been taken into custody of the United States Army after battling Iron man and War Machine.

-Representatives from Hammer Industries have been attempting to lobby members of congress and the Department of Defense for favorable weapons contracts. So far, Hammer Industries has had some luck where the Department of Defense is concerned. After recently buying leftover Hammer Drones, the DoD has made plans public in which they intend to purchase Hammer Sacarb exo-skeleton for use in the military. Hammer Industries however is determined to gain access to Chitauri technology, yet it has not been able to get the DoD to budge on the matter of the alien technology.

-In Long Island City the Aryan Brotherhood has come under increased attack. Members from two African-American street gangs have decided to target the AB. Members of 'Team No Lackin' and 'Dime Block' were killed when their drive by shooting which targeted Aryan Brotherhood members turned into a bloody shootout in the street. A bystander recounts the scene; "These 2 dark colored cars pulled up right in front of the Brotherhood bar and began shooting into it, shattering windows and the door. It sounded like they had automatic weapons. Then it look like unexpected return fire was taken by the gangsters. One of their cars got away but other one got lit up. I saw the driver slumped over the wheel. 4 AB members wielding black rifles let loose on the passenger side of the car. I don't see how anyone could of survived in the car. I stuck around afterwards and watched as NYPD arrived and took multiple AB members into custody, and a gang member from the car. A handful of AB members were taken from the scene in an ambulance and body bags."

-A few days after the attack on the Brotherhood bar, another shooting targeting AB members occurred at 46th and Vernon in Long Island City. This time an AB leader, who authorities identified as Michael 'Mick' Welker was killed. Welker was found slumped over the steering wheel of his Jeep Laredo at the intersection. Forensic teams have determined that he was assassinated. A single high powered rifle round was found embedded in the engine block of his Jeep. it appears the round passed through the driver side window on a downward angle through Welker's head and into the vehicles engine. NYPD units swept adjacent rooftops but could find no trace of the assassin or the weapon used. Shortly after the news of Welker's death broke headlines, financial accounts affiliated with the Aryan Brotherhood were drained without explanation.

-AB-Syndicate War: A second brutal shootout occurred at the Brotherhood Bar. 24 members of the Aryan Brotherhood, and 8 heavily armed men were killed in all. The attack is believed to be part of a larger gang war that the AB is involved with. A witness outside the bar described what happend; "Two blacked out vans pulled up fast, like, these guys meant business. I ran and hid behind a van in the lot across the street. These guys had large guns and most were wearing vests and helemts, real pros, you know? I watched them go into the bar and automatic fire erupted, it was crazy!. I watched one skinhead run out of the side door before he was gunned down. He ran right through the glass, he had shards sticking out of his arms and chest. The pro guys were dragging one of their own out when NYPD arrived on the scene. NYPD gunned down two of the guys dragging their buddy. I think the wounded guy took a bullet in the head. One of the pros who opened fire as he came out the side door also got shot. NYPD lit up one of the vans as the pros tried to escape. The rest of the pros managed to escape in one van". NYPD sources stated they located the van used in the shootout in Rainey Park. The vehicle was firebombed. Unconfirmed reports indicate one of the heavily armed gunman was a former SWAT officer, others appeared to be ex-military. NYPD officials have not given confirmation to the media in regards to the details. FBI sources have indicated they believe the shootout was the final nail in the coffin for the AB in NYC. Brotherhood area claims have fallen through, the street element of the AB no longer exists. The only presence left of the AB in NYC is the group incarcerated at Rikers Island. Ronald Tull is believed to be the 'General' at the head of the AB in Rikers.

-The Fisk Syndicate has laid claim on operations in Long Island City and has bought an abandoned building two properties down from the Brotherhood Bar at 40°44'50.2"N 73°57'09.8"W.

-A series of terrorist attacks are directed against United States diplomatic missions worldwide, as well as diplomatic missions of Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. In the US, opinions are divided over whether the attacks are a reaction to a YouTube trailer for the film Innocence of Muslims. In Libya, among the dead is US ambassador J. Christopher Stevens.

-NYPD sources have reported that a property in Ridgewood associated with the Albanian Mob was attacked by unknown gunmen. In the shootout 3 members of the Albanian mafia were gunned down. 5 Women they were believed to of been trafficking were also killed. Rumor in the area point to the Russian Bratva in Brighton Beach as being responsible for the attack. News has surfaced on the street that the Albanian Mafia has been subjugated by the Ranskahov Bratva, and now take orders from Bratva leadership.

-On the internet, heated attacks against the Avengers surface. They are portrayed as nothing more then vigilantes who by their actions, took part in the destruction of Midtown Manhattan during the Battle of NY. Some users on social media post in agreement with the attack on the image of the Avengers. Disagreements about the laws that govern them continue to be debated. In response, a press release from SHIELD stated that the Avengers Initiative falls under the auspices of SHIELD hand act under SHIELDs direction. SHIELD has made it a point that heroes such as the Avengers are needed to defend the world against evil beings such as Loki, who in tern was responsible for the Chitauri invading Manhattan.

-WZTM News & NYPD: A bomb detonated at the Central Park Zoo. Security cameras showed a man walking into the zoo wearing a black jacket who suddenly exploded after passing through security. No metal detectors were triggered upon his entry. The blast killed 13 and injured 21, women and children were among the victims. Explosive experts from the NYPD and FBI have issued a statement indicating, as with previous bombings, no trace of the explosive itself has been found. This terrorist attack is anticipated to hurt tourism in NYC and Central Park.

-WZTM News & NYPD: Believed to be connected to the Central Park bombing, Aaron Davis is arrested by the New York City Police Department. Body camera footage showed a compliant Davis, who stated he was innocent and that his nephew had been in the park at the time of the blast. Davis was visibly upset. NYPD sources stated that Davis was seen conversing with the bomber moments before the blast, and will be held for questioning.

-WZTM News: Seven paintings worth $25 million are stolen from the Kunsthal in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

-The Latverian Embassy and Victor Von Doom has announced the installation of underground power lines that run 90% more efficient than current ones. Von Doom is offering hookups to the buildings in the surrounding areas.

Middle man weapons dealers have taken full advantage of the influx and have been conducting business with interested parties. NYPD has arrested a Hungarian arms dealer selling the illegal firearms to street gangs. The name released by NYPD is Andras Bertesy, a well known dealer among Interpol for his dealings in Europe. It is anticipated that Bertesy will be held until being extradited to Austria.

Kazan Volok is said to be in charge of overseeing Bratva operations in the area. The Bratva have also extended their influence into Canarsie and East New York, again with over 20 men. The vast expansion of the Bratva in Brooklyn has rival neighboring criminal outfits noticeably concerned.

-WZTM News: Roxxon has established free medical clinics for the poor, as a pilot programme beginning in New York City. The medical clinics are welcomed with great enthusiasm by the cities downtrodden and poor.

-Underworld rumor: In Manhattan, The Ranskahov Bratva moves into Chelsea with approximately 28 men(7 units). They lay claim to it and post up in the area. The new claim puts them right on the doorstep of the Fisk Syndicate, their current ally. A Bratva member identified as Sergei Vadim has been observed in the area, and appears to be in charge of the expansion.

-WHiH Newsfront: A publication authored by the Brotherhood of Mutants surfaces online which is an assumed response to previous attacks on the Avengers over the internet. The publication purports that those with extraordinary abilities can and should use them to defend the world against outside threats.It asks what difference is there between the Avengers, the X-Men and the Brotherhood of Mutants? In addition, the Brotherhood of Mutants continues to encourage those with extraordinary abilities to contact them and join in shaping humanity's future and protecting the world. Unlike SHIELD or the X-Men, they claim not to judge based past indesgressions, only the person you are willing to become.

-WZTM News: An former employee of The Beast Next Door has come forward after being in fear for her life. She wished to remain anonymous while giving her story. The former employee stated she was helping to close down the bar a few days ago when a large amount of what appeared to be mutants showed up. The bar, known to owned by a group calling themselves the Brotherhood of Humanity is believed to be at odds with mutant kind. The employee stated that the meeting was tense as members of the Brotherhood of Humanity were heavily armed. The employee stated she was concerned a gunfight would ensue. The employee stated she watch in disbelief as one mutant who called himself Erik was able to manipulate the weapons of the BH by crushing them as if with his mind. The employee stated that is when she dashed out the back door, passing by someone who looked exactly like her. The anonymous employee has since gone to the NYPD.

-WZTM News: The NYPD and ATF raided the Beast Next Door with a search warrant in an effort to locate illegal firearms. The bar was closed at the time, NYPD pushed past the bartender who was present. No firearms were located.

-Underworld rumor: After the meeting with mutants at The Beast Next Door, it would appear John Pilgrim has left the Brotherhood of Humanity. The BH has been left to someone known to be more extreme in his belief that mutants are an abomination, and a serious threat to humanity. That man is Charles Konstantin. It is said he harbors a personal vendetta against mutant kind for the loss of his sister many years ago where she fell victim to a mutant attack.

-WHiH Newsfront: In Kuwait, bombs detonate at the Ali Al Salem Air Base, killing 34 and injuring 110. The bombings leave intelligence agencies bewildered. No agency reportedly saw the attack coming. Military EOD teams have been unable to locate evidence of the explosive devices used. A day after the attack, a man calling himself the Mandarin hijacked the news networks and ran a video that appeared to be a direct threat to President Ellis and the United States of America.
