In Northern Mongolia travelers have found guides less and less willing for nay price to go near the Russian boarder. Many finding them visibly spooked when even speaking of it. The Few willing insist on all travelers being blessed beforehand by traditional local priests. Many claiming "Angry Gods" walk the Russian frontier and they will kill people. Most have chalked it to legends and silly local superstitions overtaking the very aggressive boarder control Russia has imposed.
What is known is nearly a third of these groups has not returned. Those who left unwilling guides have entirely vanished 90% of the time. Most recently wealthy businessman Marcus Bramstood with a group of former British Army friends pushed onward. All men were able bodied and armed.Only one of the men was found later and now lives on one of the local temples refusing to leave its grounds. All he says to anay who ask of his friends is. "Their eyes Glow...The Dead walk!"
