We salute our African Comrades in Tanzania, may your struggle to wrestle yourself free from foreign imperialism bring fruitful results.
My hat on the side
Dragging clog
Scarf around my neck
Razor in my pocket
I'm swinging by
I tease and challenge
I'm proud to be such a scoundrel

Although we have not always agreed with the decisions made by your government, particularly with regards to the present state of affairs between the Soviet Union and our Chinese friends, Tanzania has long known the intentions of the Soviet Union to be benevolent, and their dedication to aiding all "developing" nations unwavering in the face of adversity. And so we thank you for your kind words, and look forward to cooperating with not just yourself, but with the international community as a whole, regardless of power bloc.

The Republic of Cuba extends a solidary embrace across the sea to another brave people of struggle. Tanzanians are welcome into Cuba anytime. We will watch your political process closely, as Comandante Guevara was always fond and interested in the African continent. We believe you may soon play a decisive role in the planet's future.

¡Saludos!

As Ndugu Guevara himself said, "If you tremble with indignation at every injustice, then you are a comrade of mine." Accordingly, Tanzania still mourns his murder, not for Che the Marxist, but Che the warrior poet, the defender of the "Third" World, Che our comrade. We are honored by your words, coming as they do from a nation who has already achieved much in their decade of freedom from the wicked Batista regime, as much as his sacrifice, and would wish to discuss with you the details of President Nyerere's upcoming diplomatic tour, where he intends to meet with the leaders of the developing world on both sides of the global conflict.
