It makes perfect sense that this democratic chamber falls in line with the suggestions of the National Liberal Alliance, knowing full well that we provide the best course of action for Brazil.

The National Liberal Alliance (70) votes in favour of the current bill.

Sebastião do Rego Barros, President of the Chamber of Deputies

Due to an overwhelming majority, this bill passes, and is now sent to the Federal Senate for Voting.

((Now this bill will go to the Senate, you will be allowed to debate the bill further if you wish, but if we are all happy with the results we can jump straight into voting.))

We are not surprised that the National Liberal Alliance is so high faced.

Fernando de Melo Viana, President of the Federal Senate

If there is no more discussion to be made on this bill, id like to formally entertain a motion to vote on this bill.

The Social Democrats would like to second the immediate voting of this bill; our lower house passed this bill without a single dissenting voice, as this is clearly a mark of tradition and national pride.

The three Social Democratic Senators all will vote yes on this bill.

Our concerns have already been addressed, and as such we have no serious argument against this bill. The Federal Union Party (21) votes Yes.

Thank you, gentlemen.

With that, we only require the votes of our Democratic Party colleagues to move forward.
