Everything is up, and all credits are out. Time to rock on. The turn is due Friday, the 12th.

In this coming turn, we will have both legislative elections and the presidential elections, thus, this turn will work slightly differently. Legislative elections will take place on the 1st of March. Since the probability that a candidate in the election will get over 50% of the vote, one of the two most voted candidates will be selected by a legislative vote in a Joint Session of Congress. On the 5th (when all of you hopefully will have your turns in), I will post the results of the Legislative election and of the first round of the Presidential election as a 'Mid-Turn crisis' event (like we had with the Market Crash). Then I shall start an official vote in a joint session of Congress to pick the next President, while the turn is due on the 5th, you are more than welcome to make an amendment to your orders if you wish to carry out any new action relating to the results of the elections, for the turn itself will only be posted after the President and Vice President have been picked. Also, keep in mind we will have provincial elections for Governors in May (Q2, 1930), but we will talk about that one later. Get ready to kick some ass this turn, if you have any doubts/concerns/posadist rages, by all means hit me up on discord or send me a PM. REMEMBER: If you wish to run for office, make sure to announce your candidacy (and that of your VP), publicly, either by a post in the IC thread, or in your party newspaper.

Dear all, we were forced to undertake a week-long hiatus as we looked for a new player to take over the PLD (since Red John won't be able to carry on with his role due to work), however TRC has now been sworn as the new leader of the party, so the game may continue. Since I declared a small hiatus, and none of you actually legislated and such, I shall extend the game turn by one week to Friday the 19th. Now let the game continue! And please, do keep in mind everything I mentioned in the last post in this thread since it is very important info.

Activity has been generally extremely unsatisfactory on behalf of the political parties, especially given this is the most important turn in the game. I am extending the deadline ONCE MORE to Monday, the 21st. If I dont see an immediate increase in activity I will end the game. So please, get on with it. Thanks to those players who have been active (you know who you are), but this is a game that requires all the players to be ative.
