Still want my +30 back in some other manner then. :p
Though point of accuracy: it was blocked during the fighting by wrecks rather than actively blockaded, and cleanup was impeded by the opposing sides on each bank of the canal.

EDIT: Another small point of logic. Just like Soviet pilots in the Korean War, Egyptians in Vietnam would not be carrying any documentation on them to identify them, precisely to avoid this situation occurring. It'd be more realistic to say that essentially - like in Korea - they know that foreign pilots are flying in Vietnam, but can't prove who exactly. Plausible deniability is king, and a covert operation doesn't usually have a ton of documents carried by those doing it giving details. :p

I disagree on the Canal - losing the bonus should serve as an incentive for Egypt to be more sensible in the future with the hope of seeing it returned. And by blockaded, I mean "deliberately obstructed by various means by the Egyptians". Semantics. They sunk bridges and scuttled ships and other such things, so y'know.

Says the US player. 'Be more sensible'. Keep the warfare IC, please, not OOC.

Okay, how's this for IC? Egypt, maybe stop being assholes to the Israelis and you can get the Canal back.

Other than that, you can keep your OOC condescension to yourself.

Guys, guys, guuuuys.

Let's save it for the UN, aight?

Also, I made it so that the Egyptian pilot was captured alive. Sorry, Seren, but you just didn't roll high enough to keep this a secret.

As was pointed out to me - France only has Djibouti, French Guiana, and a bunch of tiny islands at this time in terms of it's colonies. Both the level of requested aid and the level of aid should be much lower - about 5 or 10 a turn as opposed to being 20 credits shy of Britain's current empire remnant's presented cost.

That's been corrected, yes - but now my credit income isn't making sense. I've done the calculations on my calculator twice. Should be +60 now and not +30.

Hey this isn't exactly an inaccuracy but when I wrote in my turn that I wanted to build "water mills" I really meant "small scale hydroelectric plants" but because I'm dumb as shit I couldn't think of that. Maybe it won't matter but just wanted to clarify

Idk where I would put this, but since it's OOC, I guess here. From July 30th to ~ August 14th I'll be in Europe on a tour, which will be fucking great, but since the whole day will be walking with my family and seeing places, and etc. There won't be any time for me to play BoP. So, just a heads up, so y'all can decide what to do with East Germany.

Just to note the thing we were discussing in IRC: Changing the Egypt/Vietnam UN thing in the news to reflect that it's still ongoing, and perhaps adding a rule that if you post in a thread but don't vote explicitly (or make clear your intention to defer voting to a later stage), your delegation is deemed to either have not turned up for the vote, or to have abstained.

Separately I'd like to object to the election of Nixon to the Presidency. LBJ is running again (incumbency advantage), and the Vietnam War has been going far better than historically. Even if you considered merely the close states in the historical 1968 election, LBJ would win - nevermind if you want to get into looking at the states he solidly won in 1964 that would have had to go red for Nixon to win.

Also is there anything more you can tell us about the situation on the ground in Czechoslovakia? It's not abundantly clear to me exactly how things stand.

"Human rights groups from all over the world begin demanding immediate humanitarian relief for the people of Biafra, despite the fact that this is currently impeded by the military blockade." - would this blockade be... Nigeria? 'cuz the Biafran's have a land border with Cameroon if need be. If it's the UN you're thinking about, we instituted a mandatory arms embargo, not a blockade.

Chinese don't have troops shown deployed to their border with the USSR.

I also think North Vietnam's income is incorrectly calculated?

And since, by the map, the pro-PRC faction holds Brazzaville (and is the remnants of the former-government), shouldn't they be listed as Congo-Brazzaville, with the coup perpetrators as the rebels?
