Treaty of Lund

In the name of God, and in the interests of Peace throughout the Baltic in specific and Christian Europe proper, we the convened representatives of the Kingdom of Sweden (henceforth "Sweden") and the Kingdom of Prussia ("Prussia"), declare the intent and effect of this Treaty to be a general forgiveness of all past wrongs, and a proclamation of unity and security with regards to the future. In this spirit, it is declared that, taking effect from the moment of signing:

Prussia shall repudiate all alliances, embargoes, and concordats public and private done with the intent of aggressive action against Sweden.

The city of Stettin, as well as enough surrounding lands to provide a corridor to the sea, shall be ceded in a timely manner to Prussia, and recognized as an integral part of Prussian territory. The borders of the two nations, following this transfer, shall be fixed as is, recognizing the gains of no nation who is currently making war upon the Swedish Crown.

Sweden and Prussia will grant the other the status of 'most favored nation' in regards to Baltic trade, and shall not impede commerce or movement within the bounds of law, nor impose tariffs upon the goods of the other in the port cities of Stettin, Königsberg, Narva, Gothenburg, or Karlstad.

The two nations shall enter immediately into a defensive alliance as pertains to the sanctity of territorial rights in the Baltic, and shall pledge themselves to the mutual defense of their undeniable rights of commerce and peace in the Baltic.

Prussia acknowledges current Swedish policy as to customs laws, trade, and naval regulations within the Baltic, and agrees to support Swedish aims regarding such.

Done in the city of Lund, on First day of February, in the Year of Our Lord 1715.
