Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]
The lies of the British government continue. Not only have they lied about the length of any informal agreements, not only have they lied about the content of those agreements, not only have they lied about their intentions and breaches of the status quo with regards to Hong Kong, but now they seek to grossly misrepresent the position of China.
We have made no threats to shut off power or water to Hong Kong, nor have we made any attempts to blockade Hong Kong or starve its citizens - fellow Chinese - to death. As for claims of restriction freedom of expression, the UK must undoubtedly refer to our negotiations which they cast aside so wantonly, wherein we sought an end to the promotion of pro-KMT views in Hong Kong and furthermore an end to British censorship of left-wing newspapers and news sources.
China is concerned with its territorial integrity, and with the rights of the masses. And the British government has marked itself ever more deeply as imperialist in nature in its evident attempts to separate Hong Kong further from China. The old dynasties were forced to endure the indignities of Western imperialism. The People's Republic will not allow neo-imperialism to carve out an puppet "independent" city state or a permanent British settlement from sovereign Chinese territory. We will not endure a second Century of Humiliation. Nor will we permit an untrustworthy British government, whose instability is clearly displayed for all the world to see, to risk China's territorial integrity by the maintenance of this imperialist outpost while the People's Liberation Army is deploying overseas to combat the alien menace.
Additionally, we have made no threat of war or taken any aggressive action towards Britain - yet. We have merely issued our ultimatum in light of British dishonesty and unwillingness to negotiate on the future of Hong Kong.
Nations of the world, the British ask you to consider the precedent these actions set. We tell you now, the People's Republic has ever been a friend to the masses and sought only to defend our sovereignty and our allies - and now, the dignity of all mankind. We are not the greatest colonial oppressor that history has ever witnessed. Consider the consequences if you side with such a nation, and what it will mean for the independence of a world still emerging from the evils of colonialism.

Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]
Frankly, the information and lack thereof revealed in the course of this diplomatic row between the United Kingdom and PRC leaves Pakistan even more concerned that we were previously. Our diplomats have been provided evidence by their Chinese peers that backs up the PRC's version of the diplomatic exchange between themselves and the UK, while the United Kingdom has yet to produce proof for their extraordinary claims of Chinese threats and harassment.
Given the United Kingdom's recent decision of urging the Commonwealth of Nations to deny consequences for Israel committing crimes against humanity and peace because the Arab victims of their aggression would not negotiate in a way palatable to Britain, their aggressive dismissal out of hand of the most recent Chinese request for negotiations without substantial evidence justifying them casts further doubt on the idea that the United Kingdom's inconsistent foreign policy as of late has anything to do with the good of humanity.
We strongly urge the United Kingdom to engage in good-faith negotiations with the PRC to resolve this conflict, conducted through a third party if necessary- as it is, the recent behavior of the UK's diplomats is worryingly unbecoming of one of the most influential governments in the world, in our opinion.

if the PRC wants to try to bring about a deal then fine, lets start a conference [I'm using a phone so I'm letting someone else start it, also when I get back I will provide the evidence for my claims]

Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]

Republic of China
With all due respect to the Pakistani envoy, who we are sure are greatly confused by ongoing, chaotic events, we ask for them to be understanding of the British viewpoint. The Beijing regime, which is engaging in a daily genocide against our people, has unilaterally and entirely unprovoked, made a clear and open threat of immediate invasion – only months after attempting to cause a violent revolution in Hong Kong, regularly attacking the British legations in Beijing and Shanghai, and unlawfully imprisoning several British citizens including a journalist (Mr. Anthony Grey, a Reuters employee, jailed since July 1968). If the British response is muddled, it is certainlt due to the great speed at which Communist aggression is taking place.
On a wholly different note, if Britain will invite us, China will be happy to deploy a Company of men from the General Political Warfare Department to aid British forces in the Falkland Islands.

We will happily accept that and thank the ROC for putting our mind at ease over one [very small] problem and enjoy the fact we are not alone in this dark new world we find our selves in.

Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]
The rightness of China's position continues to be evidenced, as not only has the British government refused to adopt even the basest of pre-requisites for the resumption of the talks that they broke off - that of making clear their position since 1950, that the PRC is the legitimate government of China, but they have continued to fail to produce any proof of their baseless allegations. Moreover, they have even been evidenced in falsifying diplomatic cables, seeking to mislead the international community as to the nature of prior Sino-British discussions.
We can only join our Pakistani colleagues in calling for the United Kingdom to resume good faith negotiations, if any such good faith can be found after these recent trespasses, and to behave in a manner more becoming of their nation.

we only ask that before talks will start [and we will cut off all connections to the ROC once this is done] that the threat of invasion be removed

Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]
No threat of invasion has been made. Our sole requirement for the resumption of talks is that the One China policy be respected and adhered to. That the British government will not even deign to make clear its continued recognition of the Chinese government - let alone answer for its failure to provide any evidence OR its attempts to falsify diplomatic cables - is indicative of the total lack of good faith by the British.

Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]
you have threaten to "seize" Hong Kong [your own words], Hong Kong is UK land that is given self governing powers, by threatening to take Hong Kong you are threatening to take UK land, which we believe is the same as invading the UK

At no point is the word "seize" used in the declaration issued by the PRC. Meanwhile Britain appears to believe if it continues to ignore its repeated false and falsified positions, the world will also turn a blind eye.

Re: 10 Downing Street [United Kingdom HQ]
our mistakes, the wording is
which then we think its easy to jump to the point that if we don't give you Hong Kong that you will forcefully take it, so in effect it is a thinly vailed threat of invasionWe therefore announce that British authorities in Hong Kong have 72 hours within which to return Hong Kong to China.
