The Federal government of the United States of Brazil will formally make its request to rejoin the League of Nations

We presume that this means Brazil has abandoned its insistence on permanent membership to the Executive Council?

not in the least bit, yet we feel that turning our backs on the while league is a mistake and one that wont reach let us reach our goals. We shall still strive for that end goal but until then we would be happy to rejoin and work with other nations with in the league while working towards the stated goal
