Syria finds this incredibly odd, considering that the French government has recognized the People's Republic of China since 1964. After the betrayal of one already well-established French foreign policy initiative, that they would reverse this position too is not so much deplorable as it is worrisome - has the French government perhaps come down with a case of amnesia?

In light of the recent aggression People's Republic of China, support for and invasion of India, that risks escalation into a Third World War and plunging us all into nuclear fire, Israel changes our vote to no. We cannot allow a state so belligerent and warmongering to hold a veto in the Security Council, for it would only use it to defend its blatant attacks on other sovereign nations from UN oversight.
