UNSC: Peace in East Pakistan

"We and you ought not to pull on the ends of a rope which you have tied the knots of war. Because the more the two of us pull, the tighter the knot will be tied. And then it will be necessary to cut that knot, and what that would mean is not for me to explain to you." - Nikita Khrushchev (1961)

Islamic Republic of Pakistan

Pakistan requests peacekeepers, as originally proposed with China prior to the Indian invasion, from Islamic nations. We would prefer Arab nations, Iran, Turkey, and so on.

Libyan Arab Republic

Under normal circumstances, Libya would volunteer a unit, but due to ongoing Franco-Zionist attempts at insurgency outside of Tripoli, we cannot divert that many soldiers.

Perhaps a joint Arab League unit could be assembled, drawing manpower from several different states and requiring less expenditures for any individual one?

Syrian Arab Republic

Syria will gladly send a unit of peacekeepers to both ensure the right of voluntary self-determination and liberty of the East Pakistani people and assuage the Islamic Republic of Pakistan that nations outside of the American and Soviet blocs are in support of a fair and just peace. However, if the international community finds itself in support of an Arab League initiative as opposed to a state-based one, as our Libyan brothers suggest, we will happily consent to that as well.
