The Living Prison

Post by Red John »

An infinite space, made up of infinite layers and filled with infinite beings. Each layer has it's own characteristics- determined by the unconscious thoughts of Kaminsod- with the putrid Chaos Energy that fills the Prison continuously birthing aberrations who desperately vie for supremacy over their layers. The only common feature of each layer is the harsh and hospitable environments; ranging from endless deserts with no water, to bottomless oceans teeming with Leviathans. Over the countless years, some layers have seen the establishment of their own Lords, consecrated on the corpses of untold numbers of creatures. The strong reign over the weak, and the weak conspire against the strong, an endless struggle that will never end.

But one of the many layers, the Twilight Grove.

At the very heart of the Prison lays it's warden, and it's most dangerous prisoner. Bound by chains forged from an unknown metal, sleeps Kaminsod: a gargantuan mass of swirling black filth, every breath producing an immeasurable amount of chaos energy, which spreads throughout the entirety of the Prison. Very occasionally will Kaminsod awaken and, in his brief period of lucidity, attempt to influence events in the Prison, granting his favor through a gift of vast quantities of Chaos Energy- leading to a surge in power for whatever being was unlucky enough to have been taken notice of.
