Welcome to the Foreign Offices of the Union of Britain. Please leave a message and a representative of the Trade Union Congress will get back to you at the first opportunity
The United Peoples of Mexico salute the Union of Britain and their brave struggle to rebuild society outside of capitalist norms. Traditionally the friendship between our peoples has been hampered by colonial and imperial criminality. We nevertheless remain hopeful that a new era might begin between us in which mutual respect be established as the basis of all relations.
In that spirit, we should like to discuss the possibility of academic and cultural exchange. It is our belief that it would be for the benefit of all involved if we endeavored seriously to understand and explain our scientific and political developments to each other.
Indeed, we recognize the sordid legacy of the British Empire and the damage that it has done to the world in the name of exploitation and empire. Nonetheless we hope that we can begin to right the wrongs that we have done, and perhaps atone for the sins and failings of the past generations who came before us.
It is our understanding that scientific and technical cooperation between Syndicalist states was to take place at the First International Congress, but we are willing to set up some preliminary arrangements ahead of time. Was there anything in particular that you had in mind?
The Union of Britain hereby extends diplomatic recognition to the new Bolivian government in addition to the Paraguay Social Republic, and welcomes them to a new era of freedom and brotherhood
When the Mexican Peoples look around the world today, they often get the impression of being audience members in some elaborate production of any number of manichean Seventeenth-Century Spanish stage dramas by Calderón de la Barca, complete with archetypically-evil one-dimensional villains fully bent on engaging in Evil just for the "fun" of it.
Yet that description is not so far off from what the United Peoples of Mexico bear witness to whenever they turn their attention to the world stage. Dangerous madmen, stripped of their previously-held political office, conspire with a rogue's gallery of businessmen and military generals who validate and goad them on as they prepare to wage war on a global scale.
The hypothetical invasions of these madmen's Homelands, hopeless as they would always be, would entail a human toll so massive that it would even exceed even the one Great War itself had on Earth's Peoples. And did we not learn from that experience that war is an unconscionable evil and that the world must work together to build a lasting peace? Was it not called back then The War To End All Wars?
How many more trenches must be dug before the little men with the shiny hats are satisfied? How many more graves?
The United Mexican Peoples formally congratulates the Union of Britain for its recent practical reaffirment of its known commitment to World Peace. We wish them all the best in their endeavor and salute them in their struggle against criminal conspiracies that would unleash bloodshed upon the world.
The Union of Britain officially recognizes the Socialist Republic of Panama as the legitimate government of the Panamanian people, and condemns the unprovoked invasion of Panama by the United Provinces of Central America. Such actions should not be permissible in the international community, and we call on them to withdraw immediately
