Monarcho-Fascist plot crushed, Romanian Socialist Republic established, Fascists defeated once and for all
Today, the vicious and cowardly group know as the "Iron Guards" have been finally brought to justice after attempting to kidnap King Michael. A last-minute call by one family servant warned our armed forces of gunshots near the palace which prompted the mobilization of regional infantry units to reinforce the palace guard and heroically crush the fascist plot.
Not long afterward a determined effort was made to find the last hideouts of these scoundrels. Although these war criminals were well-hidden, our revolutionary military forces had more determination and ended up being able to completely eliminate their resistance in concert with Soviet aid. Coincidentally, it is believed that with the Fascist threat finally defeated the Soviet forces in our country will soon leave peacefully to help rebuild their own home.
Speaking of rebuilding, the government has already made significant efforts towards repairing civilian and military infrastructure, with formerly destroyed or damaged oil wells already resuming operation. Rumors of sabotage are without substance, as the wells are operating at full capacity and already contributing to our nation's economy. While some there is still war damage to be repaired and oil wells not functional, the nation is well on it's way to recovery. In fact, it is expected that the government will look inward and help develop significantly the national industries - and government spokespersons have already instructed the population to remain calm. "We are learning from the experiences of the other Socialist nations, such as France, Germany, the Soviet Union and Yugoslavia, to see what works and what does not." Said Petru Groza.
While the fate of monarchist assets remains in question - they did, after all, contribute significantly in the attempt to capture King Michael - with the abdication of the monarchy and the fascist plot, it is unlikely that the experience of Germany will be repeated.
