John had no problem keeping his nerve in this situation. It was a possible outcome, after all. He grabbed was many bags as he could comfortably carry and promptly headed for the exit.

"Come on everybody, we are leaving. Arguments later, right now we must escape. You and Shooter are staying armed. He and I are carrying the goods back." He looked at Eddie, then at the manager. "You stay on the ground until the authorities come, hands on your ears like everybody else." He continued on his way.

The manager nodded at John quickly.

Eddie followed John out of the vault area with the bags. Moving quickly him and John entered the banks teller area. Marlena made eye contact with John, then glared at Rip who was behind the teller booths still. He was covered in blood. John knew he must of fired his shotgun up close to the dead teller.

"John I'm sorry, she was going for the button" Rip said in a concerned tone.

John remained calm and professional, gesturing at Rip to stop. He was certain the man did not know what to do and made a decision out of panic. "Later. For now we need to get out of here, so get yourself together and leave no hard evidence behind."

He continued on.

16:38hrs

Rip grabbed a bag from Eddie. "We going out the front?" he asked.

Sirens could be heard in the distance. John knew NYPD would be in front of the bank at any moment. While the front door may be a quicker route to the car, John also played through a quick scenario in his head if they chose the back door. It'd be a longer haul to the getaway car. But maybe he could get Davy to pull up to the rear parking lot. It'd be risky though, as the getaway car could get penned in by NYPD units.

"Okay everybody, we are running. Somebody grab these and get as quickly as you can into the car - no delays just get inside, I will provide cover fire."

John kept advancing. Once one of his group took his bags, he would ready his gun again and start running towards the car himself.

16:39hrs

Eddie shouldered John's bag. Rip grabbed a bag laying on the floor, as did Marlena.

Free from the extra weight John went out the main entrance first, with his pistol at low ready. He scanned the street nothing appeared to be amiss, but he could hear the sirens getting closer.

All four of them advanced quickly on the sidewalk to the car. John could see people in traffic appeared suspicious as they strained their necks to see where the crew were heading.

John could see Davy packing up his rifle in the car. He placed it in the trunk with John's TDI Vector and Mossberg 590M.

The group made it to the car. "Shit guys we've gotta hurry!". The bags were tossed into the trunk by each one of them, and the crew entered the car.

The sirens stopped. They watched as the first responding NYPD unit pulled up and parallel parked nearly right in front of them on Hylan Boulavard. Another could be seen coming up Quintard street towards the bank creeping slowly. There was no doubt in John's mind that they'red be a third that they could not see.

"John do you want me to take it slow out of here?" Davy asked.

"Yes, keep it cool. We are just commuters until the cover is blown." And if the cover was blown, he was discretely preparing to aim for the police cars' tires.

Hopefully it would not come to that, however.

Davy gripped the wheel tightly. "Alright here we go."

The car pulled out onto Quintard Street, and began to head west toward Ledyard Place. Davy took the left onto Ledyard and proceeded to Parkinson Avenue.

At the stop sign two more NYPD units flew past the front of them with sirens on. "They must of found the body" Marlena said while glaring at Rip who sat quietly next to her.

Davy took a right Soutbound onto Parkinson Ave and then a quick left onto Kramer Street. "What was that back there, Rip shot someone?" asked Davy.

Marlena quickly answered, "Yeah, I'm not working with this fucking amateur again." Rip remained quiet.

Reaching the end of Kramer Street, Davy hopped onto Hylan Blvd and headed to Highway 278 to get back to New Jersey.
